2012 Tax Brackets
The table below shows how the tax rates have changed for the 2012 tax year. Single filers have seen an increase of the tax free allowance from $8,500 in 2011 to $8,700 in 2012. The top tax rate has also increased by just over $9,000 from $379,151 in 2011 to over $388,351 in 2012.
